Jail Bait Balin

Marty Balin, 1970 (by Robert Altman)

Police arrested Jefferson Airplane frontman Marty Balin on May 16, 1970, while responding to noise complaints at a Bloomington, Minnesota, hotel. (Which one, I’m not sure.) Officers reported that they found the singer in his hotel room with a quantity of marijuana and at least two teenaged girls. They took him into custody and charged him with pot possession and contributing to the delinquency of minors. Balin eventually had to pay a small fine for his alleged transgressions. Naughty boy.
